Sandy's

Every time I think of Sandy's I think if chocolates and cakes and fondue and those have been my favorites there for quite sometime. But after being told that there is no fondue and that they now serve real foods, I found the opportunity to get there with a couple of friends for a snack.

After settling down, I ordered my favorite concoction, a cookie one, which I always order and my two friends, against my advice ordered fruit juices. The concoction was brilliant, just brilliant portion and taste wise, but the fruit juices were served in fancy beakers and were over in one small gulp. At 150 bucks a piece, there should have been more juice, but for the same price, the cookie concoction was worth every penny.

We then got our finger foods, a panko chicken, falafels and cheese dumps. The chicken was very nice and well done, while the falafels and the cheese stuff were nice too. At an average price of about Rs. 150 each, they were good finger foods.

I certainly miss their fondue and that day we could not try out more, but I would certainly go back to try other stuff there. Service was nice, attentive and friendly and the ambiance has nothing much to speak of. So it's another place to hang out in Chennai.

Food 8/10
Service 8/10
Ambiance 7/10
Price 7/10
